Lucas has spent the past 25 years working with youth and their families. His experience includes 10 years working in residential treatment homes, 4 years managing day treatment programs, 10 years of managing foster care programs and 20 years working with foster parents.
Kelly has been working in the Social Services field for 24 years and with FFR since its inception in 2013. Managing the day to day operations at FFR in addition to overseeing the financial and human resources aspects of the agency are some of Kelly’s duties.
Nicole has a degree in Human Resources and administration. She oversees the daily operations for our youth as well as assists in office management. She has years of experience working with children in care and is passionate about being a part of an organization that aims to give youth their best chance at life.
Dr. Albert Massabki M.B.B.CH, FRCP “C”Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr. Massabki is a child and adolescent psychiatrist who consults for FFR. He has over 20 years providing care and is highly regarded in his field. He provides direct psychiatric care to our youth as well as indirect care through consultation to the staff regarding varying models of psychiatric treatment and behavioural modifications. Dr. Massabki also prescribes and monitors the use of psychotropic medications.
Dr. Jennifer Felsher Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Felsher is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a specialization in working with children, adolescents, and families. Her expertise is in working with high risk, complex and vulnerable youth. She conducts comprehensive psychological assessments particularly for those in conflict with the law, youth with sexually abusive behavior, youth with sexual behavior problems, children involved with protective services who have experienced abuse, trauma, and neglect, and those living in residential treatment programs.
Karen Holladay B.Sc., Dip. C.S., RP
Karen has been working with children, adolescents and their families for over 25 years, both as a clinician and as a consultant to sexual abuse-specific programs operated by children’s mental health centres and residential treatment facilities.
Shelley Kavanagh R.C.A.T., B.A., Art Therapist
Shelley Kavanagh is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and a Registered Art Therapist practicing in the Greater Toronto Area.
Sean Basarke MSW., RSW
Sean provides community education, consultation, and training. He assesses and treats adolescents who have been sexually harmed, children who have engaged in concerning sexualized behaviour, and children and adolescents who have experienced forms of child maltreatment.
Jodie Miller Med. Educational Psychology; RP
Jodie provides psychotherapeutic work with diverse populations and those that have experienced intergenerational trauma. She is experienced in working with children, youth, and families around relational and environmental trauma as well as those presenting with behavioral trauma.
Heather Gregory PhD, MSW, RSW
Heather has worked with children and youth for over 15 years in early childhood education, school, hospital, child protection, research, and clinical settings. Heather assesses the impact of trauma and provides trauma therapy to children and youth between the ages of 4 and 18 who have experienced relational trauma.
